Grade Types Explained
Yahoo GradeOriginal preseason grade from Yahoo Fantasy (2013-2021 only). Based on Yahoo's proprietary formula using ADP and roster construction.
Preseason GradeCalculated draft value based on ADP (Average Draft Position). Positive value = getting players below their ADP (steals). Negative = reaching for players above ADP.
Final GradeHow did the draft actually work out? Based on final regular season standings. Champion = A+, last place = D.

Preseason Grade Calculation
For each draft pick, we calculate: Value = Player's ADP - Actual Pick Position
Positive value means you got a "steal" (picked a player later than their ADP). Negative means you "reached" (picked earlier than ADP).
The total value for all picks is compared against other drafts that year to assign a letter grade.
ADP Data Sources
- 2012-2025: FantasyPros consensus ADP data
- 2006-2011: Estimated based on position scarcity and historical draft patterns
Final Grade Scale
- A+: Champion
- A: Runner-up or top 15%
- B+: Top 25%
- B: Top 40%
- C+: Top 55%
- C: Top 70%
- D: Bottom 30%
